A very simple example of a Content Managed System (CMS). The site has designated areas of the page which can be edited online by authorised editors. The client can choose who they wish to be able to edit the page and assign that person a username and password if there is more than one contributor to the site.

The visual editor for the site allows the client to change the text, colours, links and images while the page adjusts to fit the new content. This type of website is perfect for less technically-inclined clients that require a flexible website with information that changes regularly, and that do not wish to pay a website designer for continual changes to the content. CMS websites give the client complete control and reduce outgoings in the long run.
