Charles Grimes is an entrepreneur with over 30 years experience in the estate agency and surveying fields. In January 2008 we helped create an entire brand with him, based around a content-managed website which promoted his consultancy services.

Naturally, Charles wanted some printed material to complement his site. So, WHD put together a stationery pack that consisted of a brand new logo, some letterheaded paper and an HTML email design to match that of the website.

During the design process, it was obvious that Charles had ideas of potentially rolling out more websites under the same umbrella brand and using very similar design styles used on the Leadership Coaching 4 Estate Agents website. With this in mind, we designed a logo with flexibility as the main objective. The brand name is quite long and has a fair amount of words than is traditional to incorporate into a logo, so it was quite tricky to make it look and feel compact. After a few colour tweaks and a bit of playing around, we came up with the image above. And the best thing about it is that it can easily be adapted if Charles decided to set up another ‘Leadership Coaching 4′ sub-brand.
