Logo concept for British Red Cross

WHD were asked to design a concept logo for the British Red Cross’ collaboration project with the University of East Anglia, and this is what we came up. This project was particularly challenging for various reasons. Firstly, British Red Cross uses a very tight branding guideline that consists of a colour palette of just 21 colours (all variations of each other) and an even more limited range of fonts. On top of this, the logo needed to incorporate 7 words, offer an image that portrayed collaborative effort and still be easily recogniseable.
