Charles Grimes has worked for over 30 years in the UK and abroad specialising in agency, valuations and building surveying for some of the largest companies around. In early 2008 he decided to put all of his knowledge to good use by passing it on to others through coaching sessions and seminars. To do this, he required a website for people to find out about what he has to offer. After a couple of meetings with him, it became clear that Charles wanted more than just a website. He wanted an entire brand. Without any existing material or the confinements of strict branding guidelines, this was an exciting project for us to be involved in as we were given a lot of creative control over the project (the perfect situation for us to flourish).
The Leadership Coaching 4 Estate Agency website perfectly complements Charles’ bold and confident nature and looks to assure people that he and business partner Simon Lord have all the qualities necessary to improve people’s skills in the world of estate agency. Javascript is used on a custom-designed image to present the 8 core principles on which they work.
To complement the website WHD were asked to design some printed materials, including letterheaded paper, HTML emails and postcards.
You can see the logo design case study here.
"When I started working with Xavier, the first thing we needed to sort out was the look and the logo.
Xavier immediately grasped the style I was looking for, and using my rather amateurish ideas as a basis, he had (within just 24 hours) worked them into something infinitely superior and very professional looking.
With the website design, when I had ideas of my own he listened to me, and when I wanted ideas from him he had plenty of them.
As the project progressed, he showed me how I could update text and make simple changes myself. And when the alterations needed were more complicated and needed his input, they were carried out within hours of me asking.
The result is that I got a website that looks just how I want it to, does what I want, and was created quickly. Ideal."
