WHD were approached to design a website from the ground up for Johnson & Lawrence Ltd, a building company in Bromley who provide building and construction services to Bromley, Kent and the surrounding areas. Before they came to us, Johnson & Lawrence had a simple holding page to offer contact details to anybody who searched for them on the internet. Unfortunately the holding page was not very well optimised for search engines so it was difficult to find.
With their business growing, WHD were asked to design a site where they could display their services and some of the projects they have worked on, as well as make it easy for people to get in contact with them. The site needed to contain no more than 5 pages so both parties agreed that the Startup Package was the best option to begin with.
Johnson & Lawrence had no real brand or identity on their holding page. We helped them develop a logo and a complementary colour scheme was rolled out throughout the site. The site uses Javascript on images in the Projects page to present pictures in a pretty and effective way to the user. The Contact page makes use of Google Maps to display the company’s location and also offers the user a contact form through which they can contact Johnson & Lawrence with any queries, with the option of choosing from a drop-down list of services that Johnson & Lawrence provide.
