Personal Project – Jobtree Recruitment Site

Date launched: June 2009
Website type: CMS Package
view-site

The JobTree website was built to show the power of a content managed system. Through the front end of the site, users are able to add jobs with all the details you would expect to find on a recruitment style website. This includes the title of the position available, the name of the company that’s offering it, the location, the salary, whether it is full-time, part-time or freelance and a description of the job on offer.

Any jobs posted to the site will automatically drop into a queue for the website owner to decide if it is appropriate for the site. Once accepted the job will instantly show up in the listings.

One extra  feature of this particular site is the ability for the owner to set a price for external agencies or individuals to post jobs, a pretty cool way to monetize what would otherwise be a regular recruitment website.

The concept was put together with the aid of scriptwriter and copywriter Joe Towner.
